It is easy to sell a product with little knowledge and even less service. We have experienced it up close in our personal life. It is particularly frustrating when you need to buy a product that is technical but with sales persons who really don't know their product. Getting an answer to technical questions that you might have is maddening. When we established Rossi Machinery Services, Inc., in 1995, knowing our products was one of our main pillars of our company. We get you the right answers so you can make an informed choice. That's important. We like to offer the pro's and con's of your selections so you know what you need and don't need. We think Product Knowledge is customer service.
Customer Service - For Real:
In the 1980's when we went part-time one of the key features of Rossi Machinery Services became customer service. We carried this into our establishment in 1995 and we continue to make it key to our success. What we were encountering in the late 1980's has become the standard of customer service today: the phone maze, no human interactions, and the constant run around. That's why we built and continue to offer a direct line to our staff because your call is important to us. If we need to return a call we do so right away.
Selling to You:
Our selling motto is not only to provide good product knowledge to you but to make your applications, staff skill sets, your dedicated space, electrical hook-up and budget a part of the selling process. Being a small business owner ourselves, we know the need to stay in budget. Most of our offerings are affordable quality machine tools, industrial equipment or an accessory. Quality doesn't always translate to buying the most expensive machine. Getting better technology is key and there are plenty of industrial equipment or machine tools that we sell that will fit the bill. This approach is just another facet of our customer service. Why push the most expensive machine when you can use your budget wisely and get more of what you want. A case in point was our start-up customer in Mount Gilead, Ohio. They had a specific budget to work within, but they needed to get their new shop up and running. Working with Mike Rossi, they were able to stay in budget and get everything that they needed to begin their shop. That's a great feeling for us.
