The ACER 1760G is a popular pick due to the bed size. Both the 1760G, gear-head lathe and the 1760V, the variable speed frequency driven lathe offer plenty of bed space for longer pieces.
Customers like the flexibility of this size so that they are not limited on longer parts that they smaller ACERs offer.
If you machine smaller parts we recommend the 1440V or 1440V as a great little lathe for your shop.
