This line's models are equipped with various center distances and center heights. The Jagura control is equipped with their own dialog operation interface, making operators use very easy. Finally, this control system works well with various measuring instruments to enhance workpiece quality and efficiency.
JAGURA: BASIC TYPE (AL Series)
The basic type (AL Series) has an X-Axis that is a manual feed with the Z-Axis that is driven by a rack and pinion worm gear.
The Basic Type comes with the workhead positioning brake as a standard accessory. This saves loading and unloading time which improves the overall performance. In addition, operators find this model easy to learn and use.

Machine Bed:

The machine bed was designed using the most advanced mechanical concepts to minimize any external factors which would adversely impact the machine's accuracy.

The bed is virtually vibration free with its construction coming from the high quality Meehanite cast iron processed for stability and distortion-free operation.

This allows for a high quality grinding experience with precision results.

The machine bed and slides are heat treated and precision ground.

The guideways were designed with a longer span for an optimum work table support.


Longitudinal and Cross Slide:

The slideways are configured with a V and a Flat Way.

They are hand-scraped and equipped with an automatic lubrication system, which presets the pressure and operation for a smooth grinding that is very accurate.



Spindle Headstock:

The spindle headstock was designed for high rigidity.

It's equipped with P4 grade pre-pressurized bearings.

The spindle was designed for both a fixed center or rotary center use.

The operator can easily select either center mode or the chuck clamping mode.

A workpiece positioning device comes standard with this series and it is conveniently located to assist in maximum production efficiency.

Tailstock:

The rigid tailstock is constructed of hardened alloy steel to support the MT3 or MT4 center.

Sleeve tension is easily adjusted with one conveniently located knob.

Grinding Wheel Seat:

The grinding wheel spindle is constructed of high quality alloy steel SNCM439.

It is normalized, , carburized, and sub-zero treated and precision ground.

The spindle bearings are a combination of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic.

This design is well suited for heavy loads that are stable and deflection free, providing the longest bearing life with a sub-micron tolerance in grinding.

The table span reaches 150 or 170 depending on the model.

JAGURA: NC1 SERIES
One Axis NC:
Break through the traditional hydraulic sizing and rapid feed with technology that has the X-Axis driven by a ball screw and a servo motor.
The positioning accuracy is up to +/- 0.001mm.
The waiting positioning can be set according to your operator's requirement.

JAGURA NC1 Series of cylindrical grinding machines were specially designed for auto feeding. The NC1 control system is constructed by DELTA but it employs the exclusive advanced software developed by JAGURA.

Two Axis NC
The Two Axis NC series is most suitable for grinding single step workpieces. The X-Axis is driven by a ball screw and servo motor. The positioning accuracy is up to +/- 0.001mm.
The control system is user-friendly dialog operation interface. The operator just selects the required grinding path, then sets the operation parameters and keys in the required grinding size. Then the machine will perform fully automatic grinding processes.
The fully automatic grinding cycles include:
rough grinding/wheel dressing/auto off-set/finish grinding/ spark-out grinding.

JAGURA NC2 Series: This series of cylindrical grinding machines are specially designed for OD grinding.
