OCD-4020 SERIES
Their rigid and stable construction as well as the special wheel spindle design are combined with an advanced CNC control to make cylindrical grinding easier and more accurate.
RIGID WORK SPINDLE HEAD:
The rigid constructed spindle head employs high precision bearings assuring maximum spindle stability. This guarantees outstanding accuracy for external and internal diameter grinding (opt.)and face grinding.
Precision Wheel Spindle
The grinding wheel spindle is precisely machined from high-quality alloy steel, normalized, tempered, carburized, and sub-zero treated and precisely ground and then mirror-effect treated.
This results with Non-deformation, Maximum wear resistance and lifetime accuracy is assured.
WHEEL SPINDLE HYDRO-STATIC BEARING
The Hybrid hydrostatic bearings are used for the wheel spindle. Metal to metal contact will never occur with these highly rigid bearing designs that also prevent vibration.
TAILSTOCK LUBRICATION SYSTEM
The Tailstock Lubrication System comes with an automatic oil bath lubrication system which maintains the high level of accuracy of these grinders. It comes with an oil level gauge to ensure a quick oil level checks.
The massive machine construction combined with through treatment on structural parts is a critical factor to assure lifetime accuracy of a grinder. The CNC cylindrical grinder is manufacturing by an advanced structure design concept and subject to a comprehensive heat treatment. This guarantees consistent accuracy year after year.

The external wheel is able to do formed O.D. grinding simultaneously, in order to manage the total vertical conformity and improve the grinding efficiency.
OCD SERIES' RIGID BODY:
The re-inforced build with a low center of gravity, and the rigid base, this Meehanite cast iron results in a precision machine body.
OCD SERIES'WORK HEAD
The OCD work head is driven by a servo motor which provides for stepless speed change. It is supported by a precision beveled bearing, which provides a vibration-free ability.
OCD SERIES: TAILSTOCK
The OCD series features a direct drive hydraulic tailstock with Micro-adjustment. This tailstock is equipped with hydraulic and stopper for easy operation. It also features horizontal air bearing designed for easy displacement, reducing friction and increasing longevity.

HIGH PRECISION CYLINDRICAL GRINDERS

The Palmary NC Control utilizes State-of-the-art-Technology to bring you high-precision cylindrical grinders with precision and excellence.
The grinder allows for various grinding applications with changeover ease.
STRAIGHT PLUNGE GRINDING:
For small lot production, use the automatic feed combined with sparkout timer to achieve superior grinding quality.
For mass production, use 2-step automatic feed and 2-step automatic measurement device (optional) for upgrading productivity and grinding quality.
SHOULDER GRINDING:
Provides workpiece outside diameter and shoulder grinding accomplished at a time.
Easy to set up. Simply clamp the workpiece between two centers, mount the grinding wheel on the right side of the wheel head and swivel the heat to a degree for perfoming the grinding.
TRAVERSE GRINDING:
Use automatically intermittent feed combined with hydraulic drive of the table for the most effective traverse grinding operations.
END SURFACE GRINDING:
Dismantle the spindle head cover. Mount a 3 -Jaw or 4- Jaw chuck. Change the position of the pin for the chuck rotation.
Position the pin at a 90 degree angle for end surface grinding.
TAPER GRINDING:
Hold the workpiece by a chuck or two centers. The table and the wheel head can be easily adjusted and swiveled.
INTERNAL GRINDING:
To proceed with internal grinding with a hinge-type internal grinding attachment (optional accessory) simply pull down the internal grinding spindle and fix it in place.
