ACER and Acu-Rite go hand in hand so many ways, we are sharing a bit about how they work well together.


Trade Schools, Community Colleges and High Schools:


The Acu-Rite G2 works so well as a simple CNC machine that schools and shops alike go for them. ACER offers any of their ACERs with the MILLPWR G2 as part of their machine lines. As an ACER dealer in Ohio, we offer the complete package to our customers too.


As your Ohio Acu-Rite distributor, we can offer the MILLPWR G2 to be added to your ACER (or other mill that meets the requirements).


The G2 offers an intuitive entry level CNC for mills and bed mills that require both manual and automated machining. The console is operator friendly and schools like that it teaches CNC to students without the large footprint of a full CNC.


Many small business owners purchase the ACER w/ the MILLPWR G2 to increase their production, reduce scrape and produce better parts. Larger manufacturers use these powerful machines as a second operation, moving easy, small parts to this CNC mill and freeing up the larger CNC machines.


The MILLPWR G2 is a nice machine control with:

Acu-Rite Digital Readouts on ACER machines:


ACER offers a package with a digital readout system included, but many of our customers request that we switch out the standard digital readout system from ACER to an Acu-Rite DRO203.

The DRO203 is the most popular and functional system around. Part of HEIDENHAIN and Made in the USA, Acu-Rite's quality, performance and longevity can't be beat.

The Acu-Rite DRO203 was installed in place of ACER's standard DRO on this ACER 3VS-II sold to a local schoo.
This local trade school switch out the standard DRO system on the ACER 3VS-II to the Acu-Rite DRO203. There is no better comparable system out there.
