General Purpose Linear Scales And Counters:
All Digimatic Scale Units offer inch/metric displays and are available in standard or coolant-proof designs. With absolute scale technology, they enable incremental comparison measurements and eliminating over-speed errors. With an output port to transfer measurement data to external counters or PCs, measurements can be quickly reviewed and analyzed, resulting in a more streamlined and accurate quality control process.
Mitutoyo: AT715 Absolute Linear Scale
The AT715 Absolute linear scale is highly accurate and durable, making the linear scale ideal for harsh environments.

Utilizing an electromagnetic induction system, the ABS AT715 linear scale is highly resistant to oils, water and dust making it ideal for shop floor use.
The main scale unit provides two mounting directions for easy installation on a machine tool which has difficult mounting arrangements.

The AT103 series linear scale is ideal for a wide range of applications in a variety of settings.

Mitutoyo: Retro-Fit DRO Packages
​
The Mitutoyo digital readout (DRO) Retrofit Packages couple linear scale units with a dedicated DRO to accurately detect and display displacements on manual mills, machine tools, measuring tables or any application requiring measured lengths or accurate positioning.
Retrofit packages include linear encoders, counters, displays, counter trays and universal mounting hardware and are available in many size combinations for 2- and 3-axis mills, lathes and grinders as well as knee mill and quill packages.
2-Axis, KA Counter Milling Package:
The Mitutoyo KA-200 DRO 2-axis milling system retrofits onto manual milling machines for precision displacement.
The Mitutoyo 2-axis retrofit milling package utilizes a KA-200 digital readout with slim linear scales in several different X- and Y-axis travel lengths on manual milling machines.
The KA-200 features ABSOLUTE and incremental modes with nine presets each. Using electromagnetic induction, the included ABSOLUTE AT715 linear scale is not affected by contamination making it ideal for shop floors.

2-Axis Lathe System Package
The Mitutoyo KA-200 DRO 2-axis lathe system with two different types of linear scales retrofits onto manual lathe machines for precision displacement on the X- and Z-axes.
The Mitutoyo 2-axis retrofit lathe package utilizes a KA-200 digital readout with slim linear scales in many different X- and Z-axis travel lengths on manual milling machines.
The KA-200 features ABSOLUTE and incremental modes with nine presets each. The Z-axis uses either an AT715 electromagnetic linear scale or AT103 glass linear scale, depending on the package length. The AT116 slim spar type glass linear scale handles the X-axis displacement.

The Zero/ABS key allows the display to be zero-set at any slider position along the beam for incremental comparison measurements. This key will also allow return to the ABSOLUTE coordinate with a display of the true position from the origin point.
