Today our founder, Mike Rossi made the trip up to PTMS, Precision Machining Technology Show, in Cleveland Ohio. This show, although smaller than IMTS, the international manufacturing technology show, offers a great look at manufacturing advances, products, and what new vendors are there. ACU-RITE® & HEIDENHAIN, two of our oldest & finest distributorships opened a booth this year. Wanting to discuss some of our on going projects face -to- face with our contacts at ACU-RITE® , Mike attended.
Today was the last day for the show but it was very well attended with many new booths and companies representing their products, innovations and tips for better machining.
Mike was pleased with what he discovered, in relation to how to better help our customers. We like to stay moving forward with manufacturing. Sometimes it feels like the speed of light, but there is no product, innovation or tip that we won't gain.
One of our most recent HEIDENHAIN projects requires a tape scale for the measuring system. This is a very long scale so we had to do the math, double check it and provide the customer with all the required accessories for this system to be built.
