This Extra-large DAINICHI CNC lathe from the DRNC Series is the lathe that would replace the old ROMI model, offering enhanced capabilities for machining large shafts and rolls with precision and rigidity.

Our steel customer is looking to replace their old ROMI lathe. Mike Rossi who had worked on the ROMI for many years understood completely their machine processes and what type of materials the ROMI worked with. His customer wanted to replace the ROMI and Mike met with them.

Talking with his customer, he offered the DAINICHI W30-180 X 700 as a perfect solution for the ROMI replacement.

Answering all their questions, our customer wanted to meet with the Japanese and local DAINICH representatives when Mike told them that they were coming to town.

The DAINICHI representatives answered additional questions and wanted to take a deeper dive into the ROMI lathe and its processes. Like us they want to ensure that they are offering the best DAINICHI for this steel rolling process.

Taking pictures and getting the details was an important part of this meeting.

DAINICHI will take this additional information and come up with more details and options that might work for the ROMI replacement.
