The MILL HEAD: E-Head™


Up close look at the high performing efficient milling head on the ACER 3VS-II

The head is a high-efficiency variable speed head. It comes with a 3HP (or 5HP) high efficiency Baldor / inverter motor.


There are infinite spindle speeds 0-4,500 RPM constant speed range.


AC Frequency Drive: It has a Toshiba or vector-type inverter that allows you to change speeds in seconds while maintaining torque on single phase lines.


The head has fewer mechanical parts, thus avoiding many mechancial break downs of other heads.


ACER uses quality components such as Allen -Bradley switches and an electric brake to stop fast.

Finally:

Your E-Mill can run on single-phase or 3 phase without re-wiring it!
